Being a caring school and a responsible citizen, it is our responsibility to conserve and observe sustainable practices for a safer environment.


The following is a list of a few measures that we all follow to save our Mother Earth. Please be aware that this list is not necessarily complete, and we will all need to work together to save whenever possible.

 

  1. 1. When leaving an office or classroom, we turn off the lights.
     
  2. 2. When air conditioning systems are operating, we do not leave doors or window open.
     
  3. 3. Air conditioning units are set at about 27 degrees.
     
  4. 4. Report inoperative air conditioning or leaky faucets immediately.
     
  5. 5. We urge parents and staff to consider carpooling or other energy -saving practices which will also help with parking congestion.
     
  6. 6. We use more recyclable materials like - paper pencils, cloth Pouches as compass box, Write and wipe boards, slates for kids, etc
     
  7. 7. Furniture used for kids is planned in such a way that it can be recycled again
     
  8. 8. We encourage our Team, Students and Parents to use materials that can be recycled and reused. We strongly urge to avoid using certain things like plastic and other Earth damaging materials.
     
  9. 9. A strong habit of Zero wastage of Food is developed, so children don’t waste food and also enjoy and relish their healthy and nutritious snacks at their fullest.
     
  10. 10. An initiative of celebrating Nature Awareness week , Anti Gadget Day and Environment Day makes children aware about different ways is planned to make our children sensitize towards environment as here they learn to take adequate steps towards saving Mother Earth and making it more better place to stay.
     
  11. 11. To imbibe love for our country every year we celebrate Shramdan Activity and Kartvya Week so our young learners understand their duties towards our country.
